Viele haben es erwartet, einige wollen es bereits gewusst haben aber gahnt hat es jeder irgendwie. In den nächsten Tagen wird verkündet werden das Warhammer nur noch im "Maintenance Modus" laufen wird. Das bedeutet das die Server jede Woche geprüft werden, aber keine! neuen Updates oder Patches entwickelt werden. Dies ist nötig um zu verhindern das die Server "komplett" abgeschaltet werden. Damit hat EA/Mythic endlich eingesehen das es mit Warhammer vorbei ist. Das Offizielle Statement: "Apparently in March we will have a final server merger, and the game is going into a state that is being refered to as maintence mode. This means the game will recieve weekend attention as promised, but no further updates. Doing this is an attempt to save the game from cancelation due to poor Q4'09 and Q1'10 profits at EA. Warhammer had so much potential but it is this person's opinion that EA ruined it by holding Mark Jacobs balls at release, and then handing over the project to perhaps the worst development team in MMO history. What is most surprising is how long it took for the EA/Mythic team to tell the truth about plans for the game.
